Thomas was eager to play football from a young age.
After sessions with Ilkeston Saturday morning club, Thomas started training with Heanor town at the age of 5.
His first session he’d gone to the wrong place but managed the last ten minutes of training.
Since then he’s been ever present and a big part in between the sticks for the blades.
Thomas has been around several elite clubs including Derby County and Leicester city.
As of last year he was still with Nottingham Forest.
Thomas has gone on to win three tournaments in the summer of 2019 with the blades and also pick up the managers player of the year award.
Thomas also won goalie wars the same summer and loves wearing his glupro gloves and looking out for other keepers wearing them.
Thomas is fully committed to fulfilling his potential and taking ideas and advice from his coaches.

Ben Scrimshaw did not seriously start to look at goalkeeping until he did a goalkeeper course with Kieran Tonge and Glupro’s owner Chris Annable in 2017 as a nervous 8 year old. Since then Ben has worked hard in training with Kieran, Chris and laterally with Steve and Under the Bar to improve both in confidence and ability. Since 2017, Ben has become the regular goalkeeper for Attenborough Colts on a Sunday, where he was awarded the managers player of the year at the end of the 2018-2019 season. Ben is determined and always gives 100% in games, is keen to learn and improve.
Joseph started playing in goal for Education FC at U8. When the team needed a keeper he volunteered without any previous experience. During his first season he went on to win most improved player and spent 6 months at Notts County, narrowly missing out on being signed to the academy. Joseph now plays for PMG on a Saturday in division 1 and represents Mansfield Town on a Sunday in the U10 age group. Joseph regularly attends Glupro events and training. He has a wide range of Glupro gloves and kits, including some designed himself for his birthday.
Alfie has been a Goalkeeper since the age of five. He started his playing career at Heanor Town and still currently plays for their U9’s Sambas. Alfie has been using Glupro for over three years. He spent two years at the Nottingham Forest academy and narrowly missed out on a place for the current season. He also plays outfield for the Tibshelf Tornadoes U10’s.
